my 29g bio cube display was getting way too crowded so I decided I needed to set-up a frag tank. I wanted the same condtions as my display for easy frag moving.
This mean's tying in the prop tank with the display. Display can't be drilled or have a HOB oveflow. SO, I got a 15g aga drilled (from greg, thanks!) and built a stand to put it higher than my display tank so it would drain into the display.
The prop tank has the same lighting as my display, a 70w MH minus the actinic PC (maybe later). Anyways here are some pics.
Tool's used (most of them)
Still going at 9
Glueing and brading the side's
Zach sanding (osteor10)
Time for paint
Stand and tank in place
Back of tank getting painted
Ended up making my overflow out of 1/2" starboard I had laying around.
