Kenya trees are great Dana. I wish I could find the article that I read talking about how they can be used to take harmful "nutrients" out of the water like Microalgae. I was thinking about throwing alot of Kenya trees and xenias in my sump. Plus, you can always sell them later.

I suppose that Kenya trees could be used like that but they aren't the most efficient at waste removal. I would think tunicates or clams would do better and they don't reach plague proportions in a tank (maybe in the wild but they don't seem to propogate as intensely in captivity).
You could always take that crazy man Anthony Calfo's idea and setup an Aptasia filter
