frag swap this weekend in weston

Just a heads up don't see any posts about it and had to look for it on fb. I'll be driving down. I guess it's at the hotel.

Admission is $10, with kids under 13 free, also free military, free police and firemen. $5 if you are a member of any marine club. Free if you become a member of a marine club at the show.

I went there and it was dead quiet (maybe due to the weather), I am surprise that many vendor came out of state to sell Frags... I spoke to several vendors and they said they did horrible and not worth the effort, they have doubt about the Tampa show coming up as well. People in attendance are being cheap and the piece they sell in store they expected to be half the price at the show...

I hope these kind of show get more support....

I think maybe the advertisement of the show was lacking a little. IMO. I didn't gear about it until you postedabout it. Which was already to late to change my plans a willing to bet a lot of people had no idea about it.

Not sure if people are being cheap but many of the frag prices were crazy. I saw frags there that have no business being sold for hundreds of dollars. Several vendors were asking $25 or more for 1" bird nests frags lol

The marketing behind Frag Meets is pretty bad which may have caused a bad turn out.
I didn't go due to the weather.
I was told that the prices were crazy high by consumers but, I saw vendors stating to get a sale they were having to do prices at 1/2 of that of their shops so who knows.

I thought it was pretty packed inside. I'd agree that a majority of the prices were fairly high. A vendor who I bought frags from in plantation frag meet 2 weeks ago told me about the Weston meet. Otherwise I would of had no idea
