Frag Tank Depth??

I'm setting up a 24x18x? frag tank inline with my 90 gallon. Any thoughts on what the depth should be? I'm leaning toward 10 to 12 inches - water level would then be 8 to 10 inches.

My plan is to keep a couple of clowns in there along with my SPS and zoa grow outs. I'm going to be running a tek 4x24 over top of it.

depends on what lighting you have, for something that small i would go 12 and put some t5 over it.

My frag tank is 96" x 28" x 12", water depth is 10.5". Three 250 watt halides about 18" above the water.

I did a 40 Breeder (36" long x 18" wide x 16" tall) with a 6 bulb T4 over it, it is almost too much light.
