I'm starting a 20 gallon AIO frag tank (no sump)mostly I'll be keeping softies like Xenia,Kenya tree, gsp, mushrooms, zoas, and leather.

My question is what should I use as filtration (I'm not planning on skimmer)
I'd like to keep a six line wrasse to help with worms and stuff.
I'm planning to use filter floss , and live rock rubble/ceramic rings/coral rubble.
My country have problem with importer of chempure/purigen so I can't use that

Should I use live rock rubble or ceramic ring or coral rubble?
If not what should I use instead?

If yes should i seed my rocks/media by putting it in my main tank?

How should I cycle it, is using a piece of shrimp okay?

I would just use some rock as the primary biological filter. Either place the frags on these or put them under a rack. Keep it simple... As far as cycling the tank goes you might want to place some of these rocks in your main tank for a few weeks beforehand. A nice population of beneficial bacteria will have been established and you should be good to go from there.

I have a 25G rimless tank and only have a powerhead, heater, and AI Prime. I do weekly water changes and occasionally will run carbon. I currently have birds nest, Kenya tree, hammer coral, utter chaos, a large dragon-eye piece, and Galexea. Everything has been thriving for about 6 months without any issues.

My fish include an ocellaris clown, Fire Fish, and clown goby.

I also have a significant clean-up crew and only feed when necessary.
