I have filled the tank I picked up from Tom at the last meeting. I did a DIY stand and light stand. I also built the sump out of a 40 gal breeder tank. I filled the tank mostly with water from my display tank and also pulled rubble out of my display sump for bio. I am breaking in a new reef octopus skimmer and using an eheim 3000 return pump. I put a single 250 watt metal halide for lighting but may add another based on par readings. I am going to let the tank run for a few weeks changing water from my main tank and testing water parameters until I am sure everything is stable then its on. I will give some more updates and pics as I progress.
