Fragging a St Thomas mushroom?

I am assuming someone here has fragged a St Thomas mushroom I have a nice one I am considering propagating, and would like to know how easy they are to frag. Can you just slice them up like a Discoma?

Use a very sharp razor and slice it accross the center thru the mouth, do an iodine dip and put it in a dim area for a few days than move back into a brighter area

No personal experience myself, but I've heard that they are extremely difficult to prop. A couple of greenhouse guys I know said they've tried it on a couple of occasions all with negative results resulting in loss of the entire coral. I have a nice blue and purple one that's dropping babies (very slowly) and I'm happy with that - for now.
