Fragging Chalice???

I bought a Christmas Chalice from atlantis aquarium a year ago and would like to frag it. It has grown from a 3/4"-1" piece to about 3.5"-4". What's the best way to frag it? What is the success rate? Any problems?
Thanks,
Greg

Airinhere- That is a great thread! Thank you for giving me the link.

So just that I understand correctly, you used your stainless steal cutters right? Did you cut right threw the flesh and skeleton all in one cut? That seems pretty easy. Was the razor used if the clippers did not fully cut threw all the skin? Kinda like a clean up tool?

Thanks.
Sounds like you got the general idea.
I just started cutting on the chalice with the clippers and then used the razor to clean up the remaining flesh.
Try not to tear any of the flesh. You want the cuts to be as clean as possible. Smaller area that is damaged, the smaller area that can potentially get infected.
I posted a bunch of fragging threads that weekend.
Good luck with your fragging.

I use a dremel and cut right through the flesh on top of the chalice. I add a bit of water while I am doing this to keep the heat down on the fleshy part of the chalice. I cut down as far as I can into the skeleton. I then take a small chisle and place it in the cut, one easy hit with a hammer and the piece pops off totally clean and good to go. I usually use a soft toothbrush to clean up both the pieces at the wound site, getting all the dust and bits of rock/skeleton off. I then put them both in a TMPCC dip for ten minutes and back into the tank. This method works like a charm for all of my chalices and encrusting montis.
