Fragging in a 55g tank

I want to start fragging and wonder how people mount the egg crate to the side of the tank. I have a 55g tank with plenty of room on the back to mount frags. Can someone show me how to cut egg crate and mount it to the back of the tank? Oh, what else do I need besides glue and plugs? Which type of plugs are good?

ya i would like to know to.. as getting some new lights soon, and moving old ones to my 10G QT tank .. and when not in use will be my Frag tank..

Can't wait..... as well...

yes most are glued to mag floats ( or other mag cleaners) and then they are easily moved around. You could also make a bracket by glueing the eggcrate together and hanging off your tank

Where do I get plugs? Which ones are more reliable? I guess I just glue the coral to the plug and set them on the egg crate?

You can find plugs on Ebay really cheap.

Nothing ruins the look of a tank to me more than egg crate. If you are handy at all you can get a small piece of Plexiglas from the hardware store and drill holes in one end (put a sacrificial backer board behind it to prevent chip out) then use a heat gun or torch to slowly heat the sheet and make 3 bends to hang it over the tank. The result is this:

If you aren't the DIY type these are a nice alternative.
