Fragging Toadstool??

Yup, slice it right off with a razor, and glue it down, won't be a problem. I've seen others take fishing wire through it and tie it around the rock, etc, but glue works just fine.

we just glued a piece that a buddy fragged, and it fell off in a matter of deals. I would use the epoxy putty if at all possible.

IME most leathers won't glue. They slime too much and come right off the rock. There are several methods you could try. You could rubber band it to a rock, use fishing line like TrojanScott mentioned, spear it with a plastic cocktail pick, or drop it in an area of low flow on top of a bunch of rubble. It won't take long to attach with any of the above methods.

+1 to the rubber band, this method leaves the least amount of coral chemicals in the water as it's a gradual and less shocking method. Easily fragged several ways as stated above though!

I used a plastic zip tie when I had to to it....they come in all sizes and the small ones work great for this type of thing.

Then when it attaches itself to the rubble or plug or whatever I decide to use I just cut the tie with a small pair of cutter pliers.

Easier to get it on and off than a rubberband and you have more control over the pressure applied to the coral.

Cost a few dollars more than rubberbands but works 100 times better IMO
