Fragging xenia

What is the best way to frag xeniia? I want to be able to attach it to my back wall and overflow. How can i do this? Thanks

I always frag xenia by busting or chipping the rock that the stalks are on. You can then expoxy these rocks (with the xenia on them) to the back wall or overflow of an aquarium.

I'll post some pics tomorrow.....
I made a shelf out of a piece of acrylic, and used 2 small (heater) suction cups....placed the Xenia and rock on the 'shelf' next to the glass, and it moved to the glass (and back wall) by itself.

Only problem is......it keeps climbing to the top.

As for fragging....the last piece I fragged, I sliced it off the back wall and used a rubber band to hold it to the rock. It attached in a couple of days.

I used to snip it off as close to the rock as I could, then strapped it to another rock with a rubberband. Give it a couple of days and you can take off the rubberband.

Sorry, I forgot about this until someone reminded me about it last night....

Here's the shelf that I built to attach Xenia to the glass. I used the suction cups and heater clasps....then super glued a acrylic shelf to the holders.
My small frag would sometimes fall between the back of the shelf and the glass, so I cut another 'v shaped' piece of acrylic to hold the rock in place.

It worked well.
