Fragswapper Problems

I have noticed that fragswapper will not load on my computer as well as my school computer. I talked to Brad and it wouldn't work for him.

I will update you all when we have a solution for this problem. It should not last long!

I am sorry for the delay and inability to access this wonderful frag trading asset.

Thank you for your patience.

It's back up now...maybe the server was done...unfortentely they don't tell me about these things...I have to find out from users. :)

Quit breaking my d*mn server people! :)

..just kidding. It's a cheap hosting company..you get what you pay for I guess, but it's the only way I'll offer the site free.

Maybe the reef clubs could pay a small fee each year to have access to the site? I think it would be important to have access almost exclusively without interuptions. Maybe that is something we can work on. It seems as though we are gathering clubs to the site and the more we get the less the fee would be. I know that it is up to you Kevin, but I just thought I would put my .02 in.

thanks,

Rick

I don't know what interest I'd get if I charged clubs. I'd me more likely to use advertising $$$ to upgrade to a better host. Right now I'm just trying to get more people to use it...the more it's used the more I can temp advertisors.

Not to mention I won't re-write it to fix some of the issues unless I know it's going to be more popular.

It's a catch-22..I know.

I also have an idea for that type of forum. You could set it up for just trading frags as well as for the clubs to use to organize trades. That would get more reefers involved and tempt advertisers even more. I have seen other trading sites and frankly I do not like their setup. Long lists and individual click and wait for each coral. If fragswapper was used, each frag trader/seller would have their own page like each swap attendee does. That would open it up! I know catch 22
