Yes, there's a catch -- several, actually.
First, it's just the tank; no stand, cover, or light.
There are three holes drilled, two on the top left side, and one on the top right side (see pics below). No bulkheads included.
There is a small crack running from one hole up to the frame. Mike Kovarik (who knows what he's doing) siliconed a rectangular piece of glass over the crack. Up until a couple of months ago I had this tank in operation and the repaired crack was inconsequential -- mainly because it is above the water line and has no pressure on it.
If the repaired crack is an issue this tank would also make a great terrarium, e.g., with maybe 6" of water and some bog plants -- something of that sort. Or, perhaps a reptile enclosure with a properly secure lid.
Anyway... it's free to the first person who claims it. If no takers it will go out to the curb on Sunday night. Call or text me.
