Free Leaf Scorpionfish - With a catch

My smaller leaf scorpionfish (who is eating voraciously both live ghost shrimp and frozen PE Mysis danced in front of his face) needs your help.

My larger leaf fish bit his tail last night and shredded it (removing the flesh, but the caudal rays are all in tact). He is breathing and acting fine, but my hermits are going after the wound and I am afraid that it is only going to get worse.

Do you have a hospital tank that could save him and a place for him to live once he is healed?

I would be happy to give him to someone who could secure his happiness or would pay someone to hold him for me in their hospital tank until he healed. either way, I want this to happen today.

Just a suggestion...

If you have a sump, you could put him in it until he's healed. This would save him the stress of being moved into different water with his injuries.

I have an established tank he could go in with no fish, hermits, or predators. I live north of you on ashland and could do this today. PMd you, Sean.

After re-assessing this morning, I think he may have a bacterial infection. I don't have any medicine for him and the LFS are all closed today ... I pm'ed sean ... first come first served on someone who can save my fish.
