Free Livesand

I have about 20-30lbs of aragonite livesand that has a lot of bristleworms, some spaghetti worms and copepods/amphipods...if you want it...pick it up Sunday night after 8pm or anytime on Monday.

I agree on the "forever concept" :lol: We have been in this house since 2002 and I have had the tanks for about 4 years now. I think water will be added this year for certain. Greg and I are just about to add the cabinet doors and find some trim that will work...after that, it is time to plumb them.

I wanted to get rid of these two 40g breeders because they took up too much room in my equipment room. I will keep them in the back room for QT of fish and coral on an as needed basis.

thanks for the liverock dave, good portion of aiptasia came off with macro algae on rocks only a few actually on rock itself. Tons of little critters like small micro starfish, little brittle starfish, pods, hermits and snails.

those tanks are freakin huge, can't wait to see em running, really like how you did light canopies built on rails so you can roll them away from tank to change bulbs, brilliant idea.

Thanks for the compliments, Darrick! Greg deserves all the credit for the design and construction of the fishroom...he has spent many days/weeks down there helping me.

Is the sand white or black? I really don't mean to make this a white and black issue but I have black sand in my tank know and wouldn't want to mix.

Hehehe....the sand is white...kind of a ruddy light tan really.

FWIW, I am doing black sand in both of my big tanks!

good stuff for sure should of seen live rock now i got tons more pods and a bunch of micro stars and mini brittles everywhere. Tons of life in sand, spaghetti worms, little starfish, bristle worms.
