Free to loving home

Anybody have a big freshwater tank?

I have a 12 inch royal plecostomus that is in need of a loving home. He's magnificent, I just don't have the room to keep him. I've had him for over 15 years (since he was a pup!)

Please ask your freshwater friends! He's very mild mannered with other fish and just sits attached to his driftwood all day. Here's a photo of him and Wormicus (my caecilian) in their old home...

Mad??? I am ****ed.
We got out early so I could go there and come back in 30 minutes. During rounds (case discussion) my clinician said, "we have to get out early today so Paul can go let his dogs out." I said- No, she kept going on- "feed your cats, let in your roomate, let out your neighbor's dog?" I said "No, pick up a clam." Everyone started laughing and could no believe that I wanted to leave for that.

But I do want a Red velvet wrasse though. I think I tried ordering one from Mel before and it was not on the list. I am going to get one eventually. Common theme????????? :(

That Red Velvet was wicked nice... :D I'll probably order one later on down the road...

Same here. Maaybe in 2 months or so. I will leave things alone for now. I got something new today, and they are nice.

Paul~ And what was that pray tell??? Time to update your thread... :D

Abby~ Feeling better??? That pleco is too big Ashley says... And she doesn't like the "snake" either... ;)

Abby asked me about taking it last week... I've got a soil substrate in my 75g, adding that beast would be a muddy disaster.

Hahah...well, first off, it's a caecilian. They are an amphibian and most of them are semi-terrestrial, much like salamanders. This one is of the fully aquatic variety...but he does have to come up for air every 20 minutes or so :) Yes, it has gotten out of its confines on several occasions and "dried up". Miraculously, it continues to thrive!

The beast of a pleco is still in need of a loving home. Who would have thought it would be so hard to give away such a valuable fish?!?

You can ask Kimberly's FW friends... They'd probably be into that sort of thing...
