Free Yellow Damsel

Hi Folks,

My name is Jeff and I'm new to this forum and to the MARS club.


Anyway, I have a Yellow Damsel that I'd like to find a good home for. I have had this fish for over 3 years and it's close to 3 inches in lenght. This fish is very healthy and is daily fed with Omega One pellets.

Just as a warning (not to spoil this trade... but) - these fish can be anything but calm tank mates, in my experience. I had two at one point for about a year (donated to my local LFS after spending days trying to catch them) - just had to get rid of them after they would not leave anything alone in the tank - including corals, small rocks, clams, other fish (even other fish much larger then they), etc.

In my experience - avoid the damsel, and particularly the yellow damsel, unless you have somehow found compatible tank mates or have a system that can handle a potentially aggressive fish.

Again.... just my 2 cents, and maybe I just got some wicked evil versions of a normally good fish......
