i have tried the freeze dried cyclop eeze to see if my lps and sps would benefit from it. the first time i used it, i added it straight to the aquarium. the cyclops litrally floated at the top of the water and didnt even go into the water column. i tried pushing down into the water and it still floated straight to the top again. the second time, i tried to soak it in a viewer for an hour plus and the same thing happened when i added it to the tank. is there a trick to this stuff that i am missing or is the freeze dried not as good as the frozen. any help would be great.

Stir it up when you soak it so that it breaks up and doesn't float. Should only take a couple minutes. Cyclopeeze is really small, so it should look that way not like flake food.

the flow from my vortechs helps mix it into water. try pointing a power head at the surface if you have not already. i have been using a while & it always makes its way into water column after a few minutes. i have only used the cyclops frozen version, but it works well too. the frozen cyclopeeze is not sold local & i hate to pay the next day shipping to try it

I put water in a shot glass and add the cylone. Just wait for a couple mins and cover the glass w/ your hand and shake. I do pour it in the path of a powerhead also
