Fresh water dip help

Thanks for the reply guys.
Mr Tusk, sorry if the "anybody" post bothered you as I see you posted one just like that, thing is that I was taking a three hr trip to my closest LFS to buy some products and needed help from anyone who was online at the time.
I just treated for ich ( I know there's more treatment involved to completely get rid of it) but I wanted to do a freshwater dip to do preventative fluke and ich. Is it good to do it now or just do it everytime before introducing new fish to the DT ?
I currently have 2 clown, 3 damsels, 1 lawnmower blenny, 1 firefish, 1 Koran angel and 1 sailfin tang on my 75 Gal (*** will be upgrading to a 240 Gal in May ) and only have a 20 gal tank for treatment and several 5 gal buckets

There is no dip that will help ich at all; the parasite is embedded in the fish and stays safe. Meth blue is primarily a FW fungus cure and I doubt dipping fish with it will do anything for flukes. PraziPro, a fairly safe med, is the standard med for flukes.I know of no real use for meth blue in a sw tank. Have the fish listed here been in a tank with ich? If so, only one of the 3 treatments listed in the sticky at the top of the disease forum will get rid of ich. (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1992196) This should be done in a QT, of course, while your DT stays fishless for 8+ weeks. Tough to do with the fish you have and a 20 gal QT. All new fish should be kept in QT before going into your DT. Dips are seldom necessary, unless you see a disease/parasite that responds to a FW dip. I sure wouldn't think about adding any fish until you upgrade and the ich is wiped out. I hope i followed your situation, if not, let us know.

Remember that cryptocaryon irritans (MI) embeds so deeply that fresh water dips have no effect. They are, effective, however for flukes and oodinium as far as temporary relief. MrTuskfish gives excellent advice.
