I was ready an article the other day about an aquarium that puts its fish into fresh water...causing any of the parasites to explode because of the salinity change...for a quick dip instead of using a quarantine tank.
Has anyone ever done this?
For how long do they stay in the fresh water? Lysis can happen pretty quickly to the parasites, but how long can the fish handle it?
