Can I use freshwater flake food to ghost feed my tank? For the cycle? Saltwater fish food is kind of expensive.
Also, once the ammonia peaks and starts to drop, should I keep ghost feeding or stop?
And should I keep my filter on (with filter floss) and owerheads?
Or.... should I just throw in a shrimp instead of ghost feeding?
