Not by Bean at least... lol... okay, Im just joking, he has, but you get the joke. Only reason I know is because I have one. Its not the brightest colored tang, but its pretty cool. I think it might be the largest growing bristletooth though, and perhaps the most territorial. I just dig the multiple fine lines and the orange 'speckles' around the eyes. The woman thinks this thing is sooo cute because of that.

they are very territorial and I have three in my system. One is in the sps vat and two others are in the vat with the clown trigger. As of now the the biggest one is the one in the pic but... the sps guy is a close second. And.... last but not least the third one is still small and his tail is all but removed by one of several tankmates that could have done it. I have my suspects but cant prove it. All these bristletooths were the same size when I got them and were in the same vat. Whats funny is the fact that I bought them because the guy at the lfs said they would swim together in a school ....... He didnt tell me it was because they were fighting

Yeah, I hear those striated tangs can be real terrors. For now, its the smallest tang in the tank, so the only thing is messes with is the next smallest, the pac blue, and the Lamarck's angelfish. But I see how it really has an attitude for its size. Im sure I will have to harpoon it out in due time. If I could catch it now, I would and replace it with a Tomini.
