frogspawn and torch

my frogspawn zapped my torch, looks as if 3/4 of the head is ok but some of the tissue died.. what can i do to save the rest of the head or do they usually not make it?? i figured if anything the torch would zap the frogspawn not the othe way around.. anything i should do, or is it is just going to fully die off?? maybe a lugols dip??

Im surprised they attacked each other at all! I keep seversal mixed frogspawn and torch colnies together and Ive had no problems with them. Blow out the dead tissue and keep algae from growing but often if you leave them alone they will regrow. If it gets brown jelly stuff on it frag off that branch to save the rest of the colony. I've had similar things happen and the only thing is that sometimes the polyp tips dont grow back green but whiteish?

yea i know it is weird... also this is the same frogspawn that touches my hammer.. it has 4 head only one was affected or stung, but none of them are really opening.. it is in med flow, shaded light..i also took off any dead tissue, seems the mouth is still in tact but may have been zapped as well, im giving it 50/50 for the affected head..

my frog and hammer are fine together as i said.. i have two different color frogs in my tank.. brown green tips(which zapped torch), and green with purple and pink tips(touches hammer, and at one point touched the torch).. maybe its just my green tipped frog is obviously more aggressive(but it touches my purple tipped frog)..wierd..
