Frogspawn babies?

Scoted

I just bought a frogspawn at the Delaware frag swap last weekend. Under blue lights I saw a tiny glowing green ball/3 part star like thing shooting around in the current. It had the same glow as the frogspawn. My clownfish were trying to eat it but they kept spitting it out. It has since disappeared behind a rock. Any advice on how to attach it to a rock?

Lol, it's cause your clown/s are nipping it. I have lost many euphyllias this way as they want to be hosted, can't, and take it out on the coral. GL

Yes that is possible. I saw this in an old thread of a torch dropping a baby. I'm hoping for the best.

That pic from the torch would be of some damage to the skeleton, it has been hit with a magnet cleaner or something. Gravity will slowly tear the small piece away with some tissue.

What you describe is a tentacle tip these can be torn away by pumps or the clowns as described by tweaked. The difference being no skeletal it has no chance of settling to grow but will still pack its stinging cells called nematocysts. They can land on other corals and kill the local area or even start a necrosis that can spread so best avoided.
