Im baffled. I have 4 heads of frogspawn and yesterday two died. I thought the other two would be ok since they looked alive. Today, the other two also died. I cant figure out why.
Here are my tank parameters:
nitrate 0
ammonia 0
calcium 400
alkalinity 10.8
temp 80-82
My fish:
Mural Goby
Clarkii Clown
Yellow Tang
Coral:
Acropora
Montis
hammer coral
zoas
giant carpet
green anemone
candy cane
crocea clam
shrooms
xenia
orange ricordia
I just recently added the ricordia, xenia, and some chaeto in my sump and before that all the sps two weeks prior.
I cant seem to pinpoint the problem of why the frospawn died and all the other corals seem fine. I dont feed any of my coral but i dont think that is the reason. Its just wierd because one day they were fine and then all of a sudden they were not. Can anyone think of a reason why this may have happened? I dont want to kill of my whole tank because i dont know what the problem is.
