Frogspawn Help, Please :)

One of the heads of my frogspawn just came off.....is it dead? I moved the remaining head to a spot with less flow, but not sure what is going on.

Did the skin remove from the skeleton??? Or did the head break off from the branch??? If the skin detached, consider that head a goner... If the head broke off, something probably hit it and loosened it from the branch and it will be fine...

Skin from skeleton . Could it be the flat worm problem? Speaking of: I did the flatworm exit yesterday and it got a bunch of them, but I've seen a couple more. How long do I have to wait before I do it again? The directions said when I saw them starting to die to run carbon......so it did.

I wouldn't think so if it only affected one head as opposed to all... But you never know... I always overdosed the Flatworm exit... I usually dosed 50% more waited overnight or two days and then did a 25% waterchange and ran carbon after the change... Then waited a week and dosed again and repeated if necessary... I never had AEFW's or the Redish Brown kind that take over your aquarium... I had some kind of clear kind that appeared when I neglected my tanks and the nutrient levels were up... My only losses were my Cerith snails... But I don't think I had any Frogspawn in that tank... LMK if you lose all yours and I'll take care of you...

Do you see any brown jelly like on the polyp that bailed out? Check water paramaters...

Nope, no brown jelly.

Thanks for the help. I think the spot it was in had to much flow. As soon as I moved it what was left perked right up. I have two colors of frogspawn and the other still looks fine...........
