i got a question, if i wanted to frag my frogspawn into serveral branches, but the branches are connected by the flesh on the outside of the skeleton what can i do?

Many folks "pinch" off the flesh by placing a rubber band around the coral. If you can't do that, try a tie-wrap.

I would be hesitant to just break them apart... but then again, I'm not the worlds bravest fragger!

so you saying just tie something around the flesh and it'll pinch off by itself? What if i'm unable to tie anything on it? can i slice thrugh it with a blade of some kind?

Unless you just "have" to frag it today let it set a while the flesh will separate eventually .

Yes, pinching the flesh will (eventually) cause it separate into two parts. The time depends on the coral and condition.
