Frogspawn question

Can all green frogspawn get this green given the right condition? Or are some destined to be a dirty green?

I have one that is very similar, except the the green is near the tips, the closer to the base the browner it gets. I thought it is butt ugly and it is my least favourite coral. If it would colour up I would keep it.

I think thats how they normally are.

Different lighting can make same corals have different shades of color.

Whether it be PCs, T5s, LEDs, or MHs. The same coral will look different under each light.

As you can tell, I am quite LPS ignorant. I've kept reef for years, from softies to SPS, but I always avoided LPS. I only get into LPS lately, and I thought hammer/frogspawn/torch tend to be dirty brownish green (including the one I got), I suppose thanks to the LFS condition. Only lately I saw some great looking luminous green ones.
