Frogspawn question.

Recently I've cleaned out most of a massive yellow sponge that was living between the polyps. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with my question but I figured I would add this.

It seems that one half of my frogspawns tissue is a different color than the other half. From what I've seen in the past the tissue at the base of the polyp is usually white with brown streaks. One half is now all white, I'm not sure how long this had been this way and am just curious if this is a problem or leading up to something bad.

Besides the color of the tissue the coral is fine. The picture was taken after the lights had been off and the coral deflated.

I notice tissue color differences (they start to look whiter as those one on the right do) in mine when they start to drop "buds" off the sides of their skeleton. If you look at those on the left they have already started to drop buds and then have the tissue recede away as the buds begin to form enough to support themselves independently.

FWIW in my observations they seem to drop buds when the parent heads are more closely grouped as if it is a mechanism to grow away from the parent colony to prevent overcrowding. I would love to hear from someone with any knowledge of the budding process in Euphyllia.
