I have three different euphyllia with multiple heads in a ten gallon tank with no apparent aggression.
However it's important to correctly identify the coral. Corals commonly sold as frogspawn and hammer corals are typically not aggressive. Torch corals which are similar in appearance are known to send out long and dangerous sweepers.
and if you do notice sweepers, just put the coral downstream from the others. I kept a galaxea in a ten gall for years without any problems doing this very thing.
I have a small frag in a 20H. It has two main heads with more coming in. It was about the size of a softball before I fragged it. It was way too big then but never did any real damage after it became smaller.
i've got a FS in my 10g...7 heads, no problems. just give it plenty of room to grow, and keep it in gentle flow. too high of flow will prevent full PE, and can cause sweeper tenticles to be sent out.
