I got this piece when i got my 110. It has started going downhill in the past 2 weeks. One head has disappeared completly. Not sure if you can tell in the pic but there is some new growth on some of the heads. I have 2 175W MH. These are fairly close to the top of the tank. Would they be getting too much light. I really hate to loose these. Thanks in advance.

I would try moving them away from the light, and see if that helps any. I would put them close to the bottom then gradually move them up a bit if they need it.

I agree, move it down to the bottom or middle. It looks like it has bleached out, could be from light shock. Also check your temp.

I will try and move it lower. The only problem is it is so tall. My temp stays right around 79. Thanks for the help.

Since it's not doing well. It might be a good idea to frag it. Then you could get the smaller pieces down into the bottom of the tank.

I agree with the lighting...I would also check the flow that it has....If you did not take the time to acclimate it to your lights it might not survive. All of the frogs I have ever had seem to like moderate flow and decent lighting but not too close to the top of the tank.
