Frozen vs Live Food

My seahorse actually prefers frozen/lifeless food over live brine shrimp! i thought this was funny b/c i thought it would def be the other way around.

he wont touch the live stuff, but goes crazy for the frozen. maybe i got a lazy one haha?

anyone else with similar experience?

My reidi did not like live brine at all. He actually got scared and would hide from them. it was kinda funny.

If your horse likes frozen food your stoked. My WC reidi only ever ate live ghost shrimp, so cost me a an extra grand a year or so.

Any true captive bred seahorse should be taking frozen foods instead of live.

well i thought it was just strange b/c the store i got him from ONLY fed live shrimp and now he won't touch it in my tank

Maybe that was all he had to survive on, so either eat crap or die.

When offered a much better food, he is like, bugger that crap, im tuckin into the good stuff.

Trully, brine shrimp are crap, and not part of seahorses diet and unless nutritionaly enhanced should not be used.
