the resovoir has the freon coil encased inside of it, there is no copper exposed whatsoever, this was used in a freshwater tank environment and can cool upto 200 gallons to 68degrees. Needs to be feed via maxijet or or tee it off your main pump, the idea is to have water run through it slowly, will include approx 20ft. of hose to plumb it.

forgot to mention this also comes with this Johnsons control thermostat. It controls the plugs on the right side. The left side plugs are controlled by the switch, you could plug in your pumps to this side and then flip the switch off to feed etc. I know, I know sounds so old fashion.

There is a plastic coil inside of the resivour, if it is copper then it is completly encased in some type of plastic. After looking at futher it almost appears as though the copper pipe for the freon is coupled outside of the resivour to some type of plastic coil inside it. These types of chillers are built and used on both freshwater and saltwater display tanks. There absolutly no chance of any copper being exposed to water at all.
