FOR SALE $400

(Currently selling as a package, but willing to separate if there are no bites for the whole thing)

  • 34g Solana (20" cube rimless); this is the newer design, low-iron glass on the sides and drilled for an overflow instead of the older AIO Solana
  • Glass-Holes Super Nano con Dientes Overflow; specs available on their webpage.
  • Trigger Systems CRYS30S Sump (30x12x15 15g); specs available on their webpage.
  • Reef Octopus NWB-110 In-Sump Protein Skimmer; This is the entry-level RO skimmer, and has performed very well for me on this size system.
  • Sicce Syncra 1.5 Silent Return Pump; specs available on their webpage.
  • Plumbing that I used to connect the tank and sump! All the typical BRS nylon fittings, as seen in pictures.

DAMAGE

I purchased the equipment used about a year ago, but only recently set the system up (& only ran from April 13th until July 4th); It's a fine system, but I prefer shallow tanks and my apartment doesn't have enough space for a sumped reef tank.

There are light scratches on all surfaces of the Solana - the deepest two are on the right-side pane, each about the length of a fingernail. Everything is cosmetic, and in condition you would expect (or better!) for already having two owners. These are permanent scratches (the Solana is glass.) probably caused by liverock or sand in magnetic cleaners. The silicone job is pretty sloppy (consistent with other Solanas), worked for me but you might want to redo it.

There are light scratches on all surfaces of the TriggerSystem, the largest are along the bottom (where the sump was moved while not on a tank mat by previous owner); Nothing is deep, no cracks. All cosmetic and could be polished out by hand.

INFO

Feel free to come over and check out the equipment (no pressure to buy); we can chat about reef tanks, all the pleasantries. I live in Barossa Apartments off the 101 & Scottsdale Rd, and I'd be happy to help you carry it down the stairs and load it up. If you're really interested but don't want to drive up I can bring it to almost any LFS (good excuse to go shopping) or a FRAG/PROP meeting. I do have a cat if you have allergies.

If you want specifics on anything, feel free to ask. I have plenty of pictures of individual hardware, can take pictures of serial numbers / model numbers etc, and can link you to my build thread with livestock in the tank if you want.

As always, FCFS based on PMs/Replies

Cheers!
Dan

Replied. Still for sale.

It should be noted that this includes ONLY what is listed for sale, there is no stand, no light, or any other equipment not listed.

Responded, system still for sale.

If anyone is interested in part of the system I will part out the equipment later this week, assuming no one offers price for all of it.

Just want to comment and say, that's a beautiful tank. I'm setting up the same tank but with the AIO back. Great size cube for a nano.

Secondly, it's really nice how much you offered about meeting up and helping out with no pressure to buy. I find that really reassuring in buying something of value. If I didn't have my own, this would be mine :)

Goodluck with your sale!

Any Interest in just selling the Solana? I've been wanting to get rid of the AIO on mine and do a sump and what not. LMK

Yes, but I haven't settled on parting the system out yet. I imagine I will by this weekend. In that case, I will let you know. There is another user who also expressed interest in just the tank if it was parted, too.
