I have a drilled 40g breeder and your choice of a 20 long or standard 20g sump. Both sumps have glass in them, but honestly it's kind of a crappy job. They work, but if you want them to be nice then the glass needs to be pulled and redesigned. There is nothing wrong with any of the tanks as far as water holding ability though. The 20 long has a hole drilled in the upper corner that was used as an overflow at one point. I also used it for an outlet for an auto water changer, so it's pretty handy.
The 40 breeder is drilled in the center for an overflow and also drilled in the lower corners for a closed loop that I planned but never built. Those holes are capped with PVC and held tight when I had it full.
The breeder doesn't come with an overflow, but it's ready for one. I used the glass holes one with out teeth and it worked like a champ.
