FS: All my sweet critters

I was a fish / coral whisperer for 10 years. 6 different tanks, all pristine and clear. Difficult to keep species. SPS galore!

After a 6 year hiatus I decided to jump back into the hobby, and tried to plan accordingly. Only picking hardy “dirty water” species that would thrive on the light and conditions I knew I would be able to provide. I was looking for low maintenance. I thought I still would have “the touch”. I thought it would be easy peasy lemon squeezy doing this again with two young kids.

No such luck. Either the kids get fed, or the fish. The kids won out.

One year later, and I’m raising an Algae tank with a fish and coral problem.

I’ve decided due to time & energy constraints a year was long enough for this experiment, so down she comes. I will warn you, it is not pretty, but if you have a system that will easily absorb this algae or the patience to scrub it off, then maybe I have a deal for you. Livestock first. Equipment and Tank will be listed later. Some books that I’ve had for years are available too. Some signed by the authors (yes, I’m a fish geek).

Send a PM if you have any interest. I’m in Skokie off 94 during the work week, Morton Grove in the evenings / weekends. Any reasonable offer will be considered, the more you buy, the more flexible I get :)
