Your photos of your specimen are phenomenal. Are you willing to share your "tricks of the trade"? I have a digital SLR camera with control over just about every setting, and have messed around a great deal with shutter speed and exposure length, but can't seem to get much more than over-exposed or poorly balanced shots.
