Hi everyone, I haven't really been on here in a while but I am sure a few of you may remember me. I have my BioCube 29 for sale. The tank has a few scratches on the glass but nothing that is terrible. Stand is in good condition on of the knobs fell off but just needs a screw and would be back on. I have been using this as my show tank for 2 years and I am moving from my condo to a house so it is time for me to upgrade. I currently have this running as a freshwater tank, but I had a reef in here for about a year. What is for sale is the following.....
Biocube 29 tank and stand - Tank has the fish guard so that fish cannot jump into the back chambers.
Custom hood ( I took the orginal hood and upgraded the lighting to LEDs. I used the NanoTuners heatsink and added 20 3 watt CREE LEDs from ReefLEDLights. I then added 3 cooling fans and attached the 3 moonlights back into the hood (One moonlight is out). Everything else works great. Ran off of 2 meanwell drivers so that you can run 8 blues for attinic and 12 (1:1) white to blue ration during the day for full specktrum. When I had my reef I was able to grow Softies, LPS, and SPS without a problem. I also had a clam in the tank without any lighting issues as well.
SR3 Skimmer - Basically the same as the Saphire Skimmer but made by CPR. Worked great in tank and fit well in the chamber.
UV Sterilzer - The sterilzer light burnt out but you can get a replacement. It is attached to the return pump.
I am moving in 3 weeks and breaking the tank down tomorrow pick up in Lockport. Asking $325 obo.
If you want to come and get it tomorrow I can leave it full so that you can see it hold water. If not it will be in my garage. Pics attached are from today.
