I am getting out of the hobby for a couple of years, I am looking to sell my custom built starphire drilled cube w/ custom stand. Please only serious buyers send me PMs and I am looking to sell the setup as a whole. I have complete pictures if your interested, the pictures below are from my initial build about 1.5 years ago, everything is MINT shape.
1-Aquarium Obsessed (from Canada) Custom eurobraced starphire cube w/ 1" drilled closed loop, and 2" drilled overflow, the overflow wall is made of black tinted glass and the overflow is smooth and pretty much a coast to coast see pics below hard to understand. The tank has 3 sides of starphire with black silicone the overall dimensions of the tanks is 25x24x17 display is 30 gallons
2-Custom eurobraced regular glass sump dimensions 21x21x16 sump is 25 gallons if i remember right again built by aquarium obsessed
3-The stand was custom made by a friend here at FVRC and I am sad to see it go he did a perfect job, its made of 1.25" square steel tube and is coated with epoxy primer and then coated with a white automotive finish, it will never rust, the skin on the stand is 3/4" MDF totally sealed inside and out with primer and paint, the outside finish is a black/grey/white stone finish and clear coated for protection the tank is set alot higher than most stands for perfect viewing when standing, the bottom of the tank is 48" off the floor. The overall dimensions of the entire setup on the stand is 26.5 x 32.5 x 86. There are 2 back doors that swing open to allow access to the rear portion of the tank.
4- the light setup is also custom it is raised and lowerd by an electric actuator and consists of 2-150w DE MH, both are hamilton reefstar pendants with magnetic ballasts, there is also a 24" T-5 with waterproof endcaps and an icecap reflector running on an icecap 430. There are also blue moonlights.
5- the plumbing is included for the closed loop and return, you will only have to remake the 2" return to the sump and add a new bulkhead I will have to cut it out to take the setup down. But you will get a MAG 12 for a return and a panworld PCX-100 for the closed loop, both are MINT.
6-I still have 2 cleaner shrimp, 3 rose anenomes, a true perc, and 40lbs of live rock mixed with tonga branch that will come with it.
The stands skin has 4 parts ( 2 sides with doors installed, and 2 face panels to finish it off, all hardware is installed and everything is very easy to put back together, the steel stand is made of 2 parts top and bottom, the top contains the light setup, and the bottom contains an inset that holds the sump so nothing is sitting directly on the floor. The setup is totally custom and cost me a mint to put together I am offering it for super cheap to move it out fast, The stand alone cost me over $500 and the tanks themselves cost over $1000, looking to let the complete setup go for $800 see below I just snapped some pics of the complete stand with tank tonight, other pics were from the initial setup, all you need is a skimmer and a heater and your ready!
