FS- Elephant Ear softie Coral

Very nice coral. I bought it 3-4 months ago, it was 3-4 inches diameter. It is currently closer to 8-10'.

First $20 takes it, or of course frags. :(

WARNING: While this is one of my favorite softies, IT EATS FISH!!!!!!! so far a Flame Angel, Flame Shrimp, and a goby. I bought another goby today and 15 minutes later it had it in its grasp. Yes fish are stupid but a bigger tank helps.

I am sure it would do better in a big tank. My current tank is only a 65 gal, so it takes up a little less than 1/3 of bottom of my tank.

Had to put it in my fuge.

Wants new home ASAP. :sad1:

I feed the tank often.

This behavior is not uncommon with this species. I did not expect it to get as large so soon. I figfured a few years before it becomes a problem, by then i would have upgraded to bigger tank.

lol it's not funny at all, and I feel for you and your fish, but this reminds me exactly of what happened with a friend of mine up here in Tally who has a huge carpet anemone. It ate all of his fish over time. He ended up plumbing a seperate tank through the wall into another room, and in the other room set up like a really low 65 or 75 with a HPS or cheapo industrial MH light over it, and made it a DSB full of caulerpa, that carpet, and the clowns that lived in the carpet.

Anyone..anyone...

It loves my fug. Its a really nice coral, just needs more space.

Ill give it till this weekend, if no takers ill take to LFS.

thanks
Eddie
