I am selling my trio of Epaulette Sharks (Hemiscyllium ocellatum) and acrylic 225 setup as a result of a new family addition. Unfortunately, I'm having a difficult time balancing being a dad and enjoying my tank.

That being said, here is the deal right now: I am only listing the complete setup or the sharks at this time. If I sell the sharks, I will then part out the tank. Please don't ask to part out at this time.

Sharks: One 15" male and two 12" females, all very healthy and eating well. Australian epaulettes are getting very difficult, if not impossible to find now. At this size, they are easily 5-7 years from maturity, but are one of the easier sharks to breed in captivity once they reach maturity. $1000

Tank: Acrylic 225 gallon 72" long x 30" wide x 24" tall, all 1/2" thick, black back, center overflow with 2-2" drains and 2-1" returns. Two years old in good condition with only very minor scratches. Solid pine stand with removeable end pieces and matching open canopy, 100 gallon sump/refugium, 2-Quiet One 4000 return pumps, modded ASMG4x skimmer, 25W UV, 2-Seio powerheads, fuge light, low wattage T5 lights, 150 lbs of live rock, 200 pounds fine aragonite, and livestock including sharks. $2800

They are on the transship lists quite often for a decent price, but on the wholesale level they get a markup pricey side. My guess tranship mortality would be high. Whats the temperment of your trio? I have a 800 gallon shark pond but worried my wobbie and cats sharks might be too aggressive on feeding for them to get along. I have a 240 they might like attached to the system as well.

Temperment wise, they are pretty mild. They compete well with each for food, but I don't know how they would do with more aggressive sharks. I would be reluctant to house them with a wobbie, unless the wobbie was no larger than the smallest eppie.

I have had some interest, but these guys are still available. Feel free to make me an offer if you are interested. Thanks.

Mike
