FS: Getting out sale

Hi all,

After my successful tank re-start earlier this year, I've found it not as fun and more frustrating than it used to be. Oh well! I think it's time to sell everything and move on. Located in Pasadena, travel often on weekends to LA proper. Around Labor Day weekend!

I will of course start with livestock. Some corals were donated to me, so I will give those away for free. Others I will sell.

Two juvenile black and white ocellaris from Age of Aquariums, healthy and eating well, on the way to pairing up -- $25 each, $50 for pair including the food I have left.

About 100lb live rock, lots of life, lots of coralline -- $1.25/lb, more for rocks with corals grown onto them

40lb CaribSea aragonite -- in the tank but relatively new -- $20

40lb or so of crushed coral -- in the sump, lots of life! -- $20

Crabs, snails, macroalgae -- free with purchases

Corals:
Orange-eyed green chalice -- baseball sized, growing great -- $40
Nuclear green polyps (many) -- some for free, rest for $30
Pulsing pink xenia attached to rock -- $20
Tyree mystic grape favia -- smaller than baseball -- $50
Blue valida coral -- mini-colony sized but browned out -- free for someone to help it out
Finger leather coral -- medium size -- $20
Colony of blue-green multicolored zoanthids (not sure the name) on a rock -- $70
Christmas monti cap -- free
Some others attached to rocks -- sold with rocks

In terms of equipment: note I'll be happy to ship whatever is reasonable at cost.

I'd like to sell tank+stand+sump+pumps as a unit. Details:
Tank: 90g long (5' long) ACRYLIC on a powder coated steel stand. The tank was professionally reconditioned about 6 months ago. The stand is newly powder coated maybe 5 months ago, so like new. I'll include Micro Mesh acrylic reconditioning kit in case there are any scratches you ever want to work out.
Sump is about 35 gallons ACRYLIC with three compartments. Fits perfectly under the stand and plumbed to use the external OceanRunner return pump.
OceanRunner 1500 return pump
Dolphin AmpMaster 2700 external pump with new seals for closed loop.
The tank has a closed loop system that is designed to work with the Dolphin pump. If you don't like the CL, you can plug the bulkheads (I have hardware) or you can seal over the acrylic with pieces and WeldOn acrylic bond.
All plumbing is included for the CL and the return.
I'll also throw in two 250W titanium (ViaAqua) heaters, a DJ Power strip, battery-operated air pumps (for power outage), extra acrylic pieces, loc-line for the CL (or whatever else) if you want it, and probably many other things.

Asking $750 for the tank + stand + pumps + extras

Lights: 2x Barrier Reef EverGro Nova A4 (manual controls, not LCD control) as reviewed on Advanced Aquarist:

These are virtually BRAND NEW, purchased in May 2015
$400 for the pair or $210 each

AquaController Apex Lite with Energy Bar 8, temp probe, brand new pH probe, and break-out box with a leak detection sensor. The display is a bit dim but I just always use the iPhone with Fusion, and AC said they would repair it if I sent it in. -- $300

Schuran Jetstream Pico CA reactor PLUS CO2 canister, regulator, pump, and media -- $300

Tripp-Lite power inverter plus marine grade battery for battery backup in the even of a power outage -- $100

Bucket of Tropic Marin salt 200gal, brand new never opened -- $60
3/4 bucket of TM salt -- $40

There's a lot more, but I will list the little stuff later.

PM me with interest in any items.

Hey sorry to hear you're getting out of the hobby. It can be brutal sometimes.
If you end up piecing out the Apex I need another EB8. I realize that's a longshot but just in case.

I don't know what kind of sand it is.

I also have a branching hammer that was given to me, so it's on offer for free.

I also purchased a BRS mesh screen cover for the tank which I have not cut and assembled. I will include this with purchase of the tank. Open to hearing offers, as well.

I also have a EuroReef RS-80 in-sump skimmer with Sedra pump. Works great for this tank, would work great for one of similar size or smaller. $100 including pump.

Here's a FTS pic. That nook in my house is the perfect place for this tank. Sad to sell but time to do it.

Changed my mind! Keeping it. Sorry to those who expressed interest in some items. I'll PM you if I change my mind again! : )
