Bought from Bluezoo a couple years back. Looks like this:

I am going a different direction with this tank. Only the most peaceful species will reside in it. This fish is a semi-aggressive. It is also a fast swimmer, and needs lots of caves to swim in and out of. Not advised with anemones unless they are being hosted (due to wanting to steal food, and also eat excrement from their mouths), otherwise he has been a model citizen (never picks at sps, lps or softies, ime.)

This fish is best paired with other semi-aggressives, or fish that are peaceful but small enough that he doesn't see them as a threat, ime. He is full-grown at 3" and is a stunning fish with irridescent markings and bright contrasts. This fish also eats algae, and also pretty much anything you are feeding (flake, pellet, frozen, it isn't picky and is a voracious eater!)

$55 obo, also consider trades for the following:

Interesting ricordea sp. (except green)
Yellow Leather
Open or closed brain corals (except green)
Pink birdsnest
Pink pocillipora or stylophora
Clams

(basically, coral that is interesting but not overly difficult, and is not green.)

Pickup in Ithaca is preferred, but I might be able to meet elsewhere. Prefer to get him out this week.
Thanks!

Well, she's headed up to the lfs as soon as I can get her there. Would've liked to see her go straight to her new home, but I guess such is life- seems hard to sell fish on the forums. I'm glad they can take her, nonetheless. I had to remove half of the rock just to get her, fast little thing!

Cheers,
Angela

i was also considering, but only for the aggressive tank, and at 3"...think it might be lunch for the lionfish or the eel.

Hi Maroon, yeah, you're out in Buffalo, right? I'm bringing her up to Syracuse, but that is already quite a ways. If you were seriously considering it and wanted to meet somewhere, lmk. But, yes, we are pretty far apart. :(

Hi Kat, she'd be a good fit for an aggressive tank, I think. She's very fast, but I don't know much about eels, but from what I know they could probably night hunt a fish down and eat it. She will find a hole to sleep in, but an eel would probably find her so I think probably not a good fit, I'm with you.

Thanks, guys. It's sad when a fish doesn't work out. It sucks because I have no idea who she'll ultimately go to, and whether they will know her demeanor, or contradictions, etc. I wish I could write a recommendation letter to go with her, just to give the people all the info they needed. Alas, I suppose this is not practical and since I had to remove her from my system she is now living in a large tupperware bin with live rock, which works, but only in the short term. I feel awful to give her up, but her demeanor is not fitting with the other fishes. :(
