FS: PFO dual 250 watt ballast

Well I got a 400w PFO for the center today and the plan was to go w/ two 250's and a single 400. Now I want all 400s so I am selling my dual 250 (ballast only) for $ 150 PM me

is the 400w alot brighter or something? whats the reason you want all 400s?

Its brighter but I wouldnt say its a whole lot brighter. I want to keep sps lower in the tank and 400s get deeper than 250's. If i ever get a bigger tank I wont have to upgrade lighting either.

250 watt ~ around 35,000 lumens 400 watt ~ around 50, 000 lumens. Don't know the par (depends on temp of bulb), but it is almost double from 250 w to 400w. More power uh, uh, uh ,uh.

What 400w bulb gives you 50000 lumens? A 4300k 400w MH bulb is about the brightest I've ever seen, and it emits 39000 lumens.

you think that's bright, you should see a 1000w..... WOW!! Yup, that's right a 1000w is brighter than a 400w.
