I also got this guy about 1.5 yr ago from a reefer that broke down this tank and now there are about 10+ of them so I thought I'll pass a long some, does nothing but clean up your tank.

Pick up on Sunday PM.

Hey Anthony,

Might be interested in the limpet. Does it clean any place in particular (i.e. sand or rock) or certain things (i.e. algae and/or detritus)?

Sorry for all the questions.

Karl

Karl,

Mostly rock, not so much on the top since I don't think they like too much light, my guess is it eat algea most since I only see them on the rock most of the time.

I got 3 baby in the sump now and a few more I can catch from the main tank as well. Self reproduce if large enough, that's how I got so many :).

with the limpet: can they get sucked up in powerheads like a nudibranch? if not then i would like one some time in the future (can't have nudis cause they'd get sucked up )
but i really can only do trades at meetings

i have some bright green center (radio active dragon eye zoas) i could trade

Karl,

Matt (wombat2) ID this for me as Scutus sp. snail.

The foot of the limpet/snail is very strong, and will not wonder in the open that much so not to worry about the power head. If i can get one to the meeting it's yours. No trade needed, he's free since my original produced so many :)

PM replied to all.

All are feel free to comeby tomorrow afternoon to check out the tank, I'll doing water change and cleaning the front glass plus drilling the bottom glass of my new cube :bounce1:

Oh, if any of u planing to comeby and have a recent KH test kit please bring it, I wanted to check it against my older Salifert and see if the reading is off.

Thanks
Anthony
