I need something in the shady area under the overflow box behind the toadstool. In thinking a softie of some type or even filling up and camoing a piece of PVC with some sand for a tube nem.

The nems I currently have are taking up a ton of real estate as you can see. Especially that gargantuan rock flower.

Need some idears kids.

Here's a pano if someone wants a closer look:

I got plenty of rock in the sump. Just not sure what I'm going to put on them. But selling the BTAs is easier said than done, there's no way to get them off. I've tried every trick in the book to get them out so far, (at least the small splits) and no luck.

Can you move the ph and point it at the nem?

Maybe put something to cover the light on that rock and get em while they are on the move?

That's a good idea. Might try that. When I did my 3 day blackout they never moved though. But I guess it's worth a try again. The one bta is just plain enormous.

I mean look at it, it's bigger than my hand and my hand ain't small:

Ok let me know how it works if you try it :) Maybe if you keep a few of its tentacles in the light it will move over?
Dayum thats pretty big. How long has it been since it split?

I've tried some times 4 hours to get them to release their foot with no avail....resulting in me taking the rock out, and a screwdriver and hammer breaking the rock apart until I had the anenomies...

ThYs what I had to do when I got them. There was an aptasia on the rock they came on, so I took the wntire rock out and had to break it up to get them off.

I'm tempted to do it again since all 4 are on the same rock.

It split maybe a month ago? It was redonkulous before it split. Both BTAs were probably 9-10" around. Dinner plate size. The smaller of the two split evenly, the bigger one did not. Just a small section broke off the main nem.

They both used to take up the entire left side of the tank.
