Hello,
I recently received a pair of clown fish and a bi-color blenny. All the fish appeared to have a white growth on their bottom lip. The clownish healed up within two weeks without medications, however my bi-color blenny still has the growth. I also have a couple chromes in the tank but they never came down with the symptoms.
It isn't effecting his behavior or eating habits it just seems to be irritating me lol.
The fish are in a 34g Solona aquarium which has been set up for years, recently torn down and re-done. Since the reconstruction tank has been running for 4 months. params are in check, temp 80, salinity.025, ammonia0/nitrite0/nitrate 10-20ppm
Here is the best pic i could get at the moment. The growth is white and on his bottom lip.
I'm looking for an ID on the growth and possibly a treatment plan. I do not have a QT tank, only the display which is a mixed reef. Thanks
