Fungia lifespan

So my fungus recently died and I would like to know if they need any special care (all parameters are in check and stable) tank is 3yrs old.

it could have been anything. they live for as long as you can keep them alive. and dont toss the skeleton out. they have been known to sprout babys from the dead skeleton. and you could have tons of them instead of one
