furry white crab w/black claws

After cooking 200 lbs of rock for a little over a year now I finally set up my 180g. I saw this cool looking crab today for the first time. He is all white, very furry and has black claws. Anyone ever heard of a crab like this? I'm hoping he's reef safe. Any ideas?

Also I can't believe he lived that long in complete darkness with no food for over a year. How is that possible?

I will post a pic a soon as I can find my camera.

good point - it would be easier to get him now than when the tank is stocked. He's awfully cool looking though.

How about the sump? Could he live long term down there? It's a 75g with a small pile of rubble rock.

i would guess gorilla crab.. could be a threat to fish and corals, I've got one in my 75 gallon reef and i'm having a heck of time trying to remove him.
