I guess the key question is how long are you considering keeping it? I had a dwarf fuzzy in my 29g tank for around a year before I decided it needed a bigger tank. I noticed more cyano during that time as well. They produce a lot more waste than you would think.
IMO, and liveaquaria.com's, it should be fine. How densely stocked is your tank? You may want to either keep it by itself, or very few tankmates. Keep up on water changes, or better yet, a small skimmer would make things go smoother for you. Good luck!
Since I have kept lions before I wouldn't put a dwarf lion in a 24 gallon tank. That wouln't give him alot of swimming room and since they like to spread out some it wouldn't be a good idea.
Lions aren't very active swimmers. Would they be happier in a bigger tank? Sure, we all would! But if you keep the water levels good and stock it lightly, IMO it can be done and the lion would be happy. However, if you planned on having more than a few fish in here, by all means get a bigger tank.
i am an owner of a fuzzy, as long as you have overhangs for them to relax in i think you should be good. you should be keeping on water changes reguardless IMO
I am gonna chime in and say no, if you want to keep the lion long term I would suggest at least a 40. Lions do put out a huge bioload, and I have noticed that fuzzy's and fu manchu's hang out during the day but swim quite a bit at night.
